PM calls for promoting domestic products

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has urged for using the domestic products to take the country towards industrialization.
In his virtual address to “My Country, My Product” campaign and installation of newly elected working committee of Industry Organization Morang on Friday afternoon, Prime Minister Oli said that his government was cooperating with the industrialists and cooperatives to meet the national aspirations and the country was advancing to that end.
Oli was of the view that country’s economic development was envisioned within this campaign and expressed the confidence that it would help establish industrial estate, generate employment, increase productions and ensure self-sufficiency in consumer goods.
Likewise, PM Oli said that conducive environment was created in the country’s industrial sector after a long gap.
Oli also laid emphasis on use of domestic raw materials, domestic skills, investment and export of goods through the use of imported raw materials to employment generation, income growth and trade deficit reduction.
He stressed on increasing the domestic products, balancing the import and export in the country. He further urged all to lessen the use of foreign goods and products.

Prime Minister Oli claimed that the trade deficit was decreasing in the country. He added that the government’s relations with business communities were harmonious due to government’s right police to them.

PM Oli reminded that the government had recently laid the foundation stones for the construction of eight big industrial projects in different parts of the country.

Prime Minister Oli shared that the government was keeping the people’s life in first priority. He further ensured the government was managing easy treatment facilities to COVID-19 patients.

The campaign would play an important role in developing national economy and displacing imports, viewed Chief Minister of Province 1, Sherdhan Rai.
Stating that there had been an important cooperation among the provincial government, organisations and federation in preventing, controlling and providing treatment for Covid-19 patients, he said the government would connect with the drive for development.
Outgoing chairperson of the Organisation Bhim Ghimire said now the country has felt that industrial friendly environment has been created.
On the occasion, the former chairperson administered the oath to newly elected chair Suyesh Pyakurel and Pyakurel administered oath to other elected members.
