112 new cases of COVID-19 reported today
A total of 112 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in the country in the past 24 hours.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the new cases were reported from the 3,944 PCR tests conducted during this period. With this, the COVID-19 caseload has reached 273,984 in the country.
Likewise, four persons succumbed to the flu-like infection in the country today taking the COVID-19 fatality caseload to 2,772.
Similarly, 54 persons infected with Coronavirus infection have been recovered in the past 24 hours. With this, the recovery number has totaled at 270,027, the Ministry said in a press briefing today.
Altogether 71 COVID-19 patients were receiving treatment at various quarantine facilities across the country while 936 were being treated in isolation facilities, the Ministry said.
