Chinese experience useful for COCID-19 control: Minister Dhakal

Minister for Health and Population Bhanubhakta Dhakal said COVID-19 was a big challenge for the world and the Chinese experience to deal with the infection of contagion was proved to be instrumental.
At a virtual meeting of Nepal-China health experts jointly organized by Sino Nepal Media Society and Chinese Media Group with the support from Ministry of Health today, Minster Dhakal said the Chinese government and health workers had gained insightful knowledge and experience at the expenses of minimum loss by pursuing diligent efforts against COVID-19.
He further said the Chinese experience would be useful for the entire world towards the prevention of global pandemic.
On the occasion, Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Hou Yanxi said the pandemic of COVID-19 was the matter of shared crisis of entire human being and the power to fight against COVID-19 could be generated through mutual coordination and cooperation.
Demonstration of solidarity and shared cooperation by Nepal and China to tackle the pandemic was a candid manifestation of mutual friendship between the people of Nepal and China, she added.
Appreciating the measures taken by Nepal government for the prevention and control of pandemic, the ambassador said it has come up with positive results in Nepal’s efforts to tame the COVID-19.
Chinese health experts had shared their experience in dealing with coronavirus pandemic as well as responded to the queries put forth by a team of Nepali experts comprising advisor of health minister Dr Khem Bahadur Karki, Shukraraj Tropical and Infectious Hospital’s chief Dr Anup Bastola and National Trauma Centre in-charge Dr Santosh Poudel.rss
